The series “Reclamationl” is based on ruins I discovered in the heart of the Amazon rainforest near Manaus, Brazil. The building used to be a hospital for lepers, then a prison, then a school, and now the jungle is dissolving the remains of the man-made, geometric forms, covering it with the whimsical web of ever-expanding roots and branches. I love seeing Nature reclaiming what was taken from it by the most invasive species known to earth-humans.
